Lol. I'm not exactly sure about my dbs but I've only got the Heatsink fan, the case fan, and the gpu fan... so it shouldn't be very loud... but then again stock heatsinks suck. How do I redo dampening? Sounds like that might help

The big things to check for on a PC really is rubber dampening for the fans and hard drives. Although my airflow isn't yet optimal, I've order a newer, faster, and louder fan, but with a speed control. The whole thing, with all 7 fans (case, case, case, case,CPU,GPU, Northbridge), is about 20 decibels I'd say. About as loud as a whisper. I'm right beside it at night, and I sleep just fine, but then again, I slept beside a ten year old Netfinity with an SCSI raid array running 24/7, so maybe I'm just used to the whirring :P.

That's beautiful. How much noise does it make? I don't sleep very well when I leave my PC on downloading or w/e because of the noise... Video card has a tiny quiet fan, so I'm assuming it's my heat-sink. I should spring the 50 bucks for a new one, but I'm broke, so...
